About us

Welcome to our beautiful campground! Nestled on 25 acres just 2 hours from Sydney and 470 metres off the Pacific Highway, north of Newcastle, Port Stephens, our spacious sites are the perfect place to call home while you explore the stunning surroundings.​

We have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including hot showers (just $1), fresh water, and amenities. Our large Camp Kitchen is a wonderful facility for campers to prepare and eat meals under cover, with access to a kettle, toaster, microwave, and cooktop.
 

Once you've settled in, you can take a leisurely stroll around our beautiful tree-studded campground and enjoy the serene ambience. In the evenings, sit back and enjoy nature at its best, with a warm campfire to complete the perfect camping experience.

  • 1. How can I explore the surroundings of the campsite?
    By turning left when leaving the campground, you can embark on a scenic tourist drive that will take you to Allworth, Stroud, Gloucester, and Barrington Tops. Keep an eye out for the "Farmers Wife" Gin Distillery just before Allworth on the right, which offers gin tastings, pizza, and coffee.
  • 2. What amenities are available at the campsite?
    Our campsite offers a range of amenities to ensure your comfort. You'll have access to hot showers, with 4 minutes of hot water available for just $1. We also provide fresh water and well-maintained facilities. Our large Camp Kitchen is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and cooktop, allowing you to prepare and enjoy meals under cover.
  • 3. Are campfires allowed at the campground?
    Yes, campfires are permitted at our campground. To ensure safety and environmental conservation, all fires must be contained in a fire bin placed a minimum of 200mm off the ground. Please be mindful of the existing grass when positioning the fire bin. Do not dispose of any ash in the garbage bins. Firewood is available for purchase at $10, and fire bins can be rented for $5. For further details, feel free to approach Brad or any staff member.
  • 4. What are the nearby attractions if I turn left at the freeway?
    If you turn left at the freeway, you'll find a range of amenities and attractions in the vicinity. Head north to Karuah, where you'll find Karuah IGA, a petrol station, bakery, and RSL (The Bridge View Chinese Restaurant) Bottle Shop. Additionally, you can visit charming coastal towns like Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens. Consider taking a boat cruise to Nelson Bay and returning for a memorable experience.
  • 5. What can I explore if I turn right at the freeway?
    By turning right at the freeway, you can discover places like Medowie, offering amenities such as Woolworths, Coles Supermarket, McDonald's, Subway, and a bakery known for its pepper pie. The beautiful Nelson Bay, Birubi Beach, and the surrounding areas, including Newcastle Airport, are also worth exploring. For a city experience, consider visiting Newcastle or exploring the renowned Hunter Valley Vineyards, both of which make for great day trips.
  • 6. How much does it cost to stay at the campground?
    Our pricing is based on a per night basis and is designed for the comfort and convenience of two adults. We also value the significance of family, and we warmly welcome children at the age of 3 years and above with a nominal charge of $5 per night. For groups or individuals requiring an extra adult accommodation, there is a nominal fee of $10 per night. $30 - Single vehicle or camper $35 - Friday and Saturday nights, School holidays $40 - Long weekends, Easter, Christmas
